The new dictionarys are online. Now, after about 9 month, all online-dictionaries are analyzed and optimized. Last night I updated the dictionary so you can find much more high quality translations.

Enlightware goes OpenSource

Over the last few years - Enlighware has been grown up. It is very complex and to big for one person.

So - I decided to open Enlightware for you.

This means, that ‘COM’ doesn’t mean “commercial’ anymore - It stands for “community”.

First, I will free the desktop-applications;than simple Web-Projects like JTTP and ezSearch.
The Dict-ator and PixPack comes next…

But I’ve got a problem with the right license-concept. GPL/AGPL is cool, but I think there are difficulties the libraries which are used by some projects. And I don’t like the image that people take the projects and build their own portals, earn much money with that and Enlightware goes down.

Maybe you’ve got an idea so mail me (project [at] enlightware.com).

You see - I need you to give Enlightware a future. A future which based on your creativity.

FastDict seems to be a project which is want be the commuinity!
It is simple, fast and reliable. So it was tuned to suit it more to your needs.

Well the domain has changed, too. FastDict.EU is now the official home. Now it offers you more then german-english-translations - now you can translate from and into mor languages.

PixPack Alpha-Test

PixPack is being reconstructed. If you want to see the current state of development visit http://new.pixpack.net.

The goal of this rebuildment is to make PixPack more modular. This is the base of future sub-projects like a smilie-collection and a free designable website for each user.
